Hello! My name is Joshua Vilchis. I am a junior/senior level
student attending BYU-I studying Software Engineering.
One of my favorite memories growing up is when my family and another
family that we knew decied to take a 3 day backpacking trip on the
Appalachian Trail. We had no experience with backpacking, but researched
and decided to go anyways. It was the third hardest thing that I have
have had to do in my life, but one of the most rewarding as well. One night,
I was able to gaze at the stars from a ridge and really admire the work of
of our Heavenly Father. I have come to really appreciate and love the beauty
of mountains, especially the symbolism of them when it comes to the
scriptures.
